I. Definition of the button
From left to right the buttons are as followed: “SET”, “+”,”-“
II. Display
1. Temperature
Range:-99-999, C stands for Celsius, F stands for Fahrenheit; the display unit can be shifted by pressing “+” button for one second.
2. Usage time/flow rate
When there is water pass through, it will show the flow rate automatically. When there is no water, it will show usage time. Unit DAY means days, HRS means hours. The display unit can be shifted by pressing “+” button for 5 seconds.
LPM means liter per minute, GPM means Gallons per minute and the display unit can be shifted by pressing “-” button for one second.
3. Battery Indicator
When use battery and there is no enough battery, it will blink to remind the user to replace the battery, if the battery is full, there will be no indication.
4. Animation
When there is water passing through, the animation will be activated.
5. Total
Total means total water passed through. The unit L means liters, G means US gallons. The display unit can be shifted by pressing “-” button for 5 second.
(When reaches 999999L, it will reset automatically and start from 0 again.)
6. Wiring: As shown in the main picture.
Note: there are no wires for power supply; wrong wiring will cause damage to the meter.
III. K Value Setting
Press SET one time, the display will show K SETTING
Press SET for 5 seconds until the first number blinks, press + or – to input K value, press SET to move forward.
After setting, press SET for 5 seconds to save and exit.
It needs calibration to increase the accuracy. K value cannot be zero.
IV. Calibration
Default K Value*DT/RT=New K Value
DT: Display total volume in certain time period (one minute (L))
RT: Real total volume in certain time period (one minute (L))
For example, the default K value is 4, the real total volume is 0.56L (a bottle of water), the display total volume is 0.8L, then the new K value is 4*0.8/0.56=5.7
V. Pressure Meter
1. Pressure meter and flow meter cannot work together. When you use it as a pressure meter, the flow meter can be used anymore.
2. To work as pressure meter, you have to choose AC to DC power adaptor for long time usage.
3. When use this as pressure meter, need to unplug the hall flow sensor power and provide power to pressure sensor power plug. (This step needs to unscrew the back cover.)
VI. Power Supply
Regularly it is powered by 3 batteries; you can supply power by 5V DC adaptor. If so, you need to uninstall the battery housing and replace by power adaptor.
Note: The Meter has memory reservation function, but when replacing battery, unplug the flow sensor first and wait for 5 seconds for the meter to save the data.
